Ekem A Lartson
Deputy Team Leader

Ekem Lartson possesses an MSc in International Development Planning and has extensive work experience in educational development including leadership training, community development, project management, infrastructure policy, civil society and communications. Ekem worked as a project management consultant for Food Agriculture Organisation (FAO) and USAID, for the United States Department of Housing & Urban Development projects. Ekem served as the global education coordinator for Highlander Research & Education Center in the USA. He has also served as a monitoring and evaluation consultant for the Ambassador Girls Scholarship Program in West Africa, a social marketing researcher for Ghana’s National Literacy Acceleration Program, a cross-cultural trainer for the University of Tennessee and a technical advisor to the governmental jurisdictions that comprise the East Tennessee Development District. He has solid knowledge of Ghana’s educational sector, having worked extensively with the Ministry of Education and Ghana Education Service at both national and district levels. Ekem has several years of radio broadcasting experience. Finally, Mr. Lartson possesses exceptional communications skills, with a strong background in public presentation, print, broadcast and business communications media. He has facilitated workshops, published essays, produced radio and TV programming and generated corporate brochures and promotional materials for social change, developmental and corporate schemes.
