Johnson Boakye Yiadom
Coordinator, Performance Monitoring and Evaluation

Johnson’s career in education spans many years in the field in USAID-funded projects. Before his current position, he was the district planning coordinator and acted as the link between EQUALL and its 20 partner districts, working to secure closer collaboration between the two partners. He provided guidance for the District Education Offices to formulate a partnership plan that enabled EQUALL to customise its technical assistance for each district. Johnson spent more than five years with the Community School Alliances (CSA) project, a USAID-funded project. He was an assistant in Monitoring and Evaluation for four years, where he conducted baseline and impact assessments and trained data collectors. In his first year at CSA, he was a district facilitator and routinely conducted participatory rural appraisals (PRAs) for selected communities. While studying for his Master’s degree in Manchester, UK, Johnson provided part-time consultancy services to Equality and Diversity Development Services, where he assisted organisations in using the logical framework approach for planning and problem solving. He has a Master’s in Management and Implementation of Development Projects from the University of Manchester, UK, and a degree in social sciences (economics) from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana.
