Ophelia Abatey
Coordinator, Complementary Education Scholarship Program
Ophelia Abatey brings enormous experience in working with needy and disadvantaged children in northern Ghana. She served as the co-director of Afrikids and was responsible for overseeing all Afrikids projects in Northern Ghana. She also supervised the activities of the organisation’s orphanage. Before that, she was the project manager for Afrikids “Operation Sirigu.” She worked previously as the Assistant to the Regional Coordinator of the National Commission on Children.
