Success
EQUALL activities have benefited 30 districts, in more than 2,000 schools and 700 communities in Ghana.The Education Quality for All (EQUALL) project works to:
- increase access to basic education
- improve reading instructional practices
- improve education management practices
EQUALL supports the Government of Ghana's Education Strategic Plan, which emphasizes increasing access to and improving quality of basic education. Funding for EQUALL is provided by USAID (U.S. Agency for International Development).
The project began in July 2004 and has worked with 30 districts together with the Ministry of Education and the Ghana Education Service (GES). Project activities have benefited thousands of schoolchildren and hundreds of communities.
